Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the upcoming replacement for Splash Mountain at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, is making significant progress. Guests visiting the park can now see some noticeable changes in the attraction. Both Disneyland and Walt Disney World are currently undergoing renovations to introduce an attraction based on The Princess and the Frog.
Recently, Disney World shared a video on TikTok revealing the first major cosmetic change to the ride’s exterior. A new water tower, adorned with Tiana’s name and crown, is now visible in the park.
While there isn’t a fixed opening date for either Tiana’s Bayou Adventure location, Disney has announced that both attractions will open at some point in 2024. So, for those eager to experience the new version of the ride, the wait won’t be too long.
