‘Universal Parks & Resorts’ Division Is Rebranded, Parks Receive New Logos

Universal Parks & Resorts‘, a division of Comcast NBCUniversal that provides visitors worldwide with current and popular entertainment experiences, has rebranded as ‘Universal Destinations & Experiences’. The new name better represents the extensive range of innovative offerings Universal delivers to fans globally and its intention to expand its business further.

This name change also shows how the company is diversifying by creating distinctive and imaginative ways to bring Universal branded entertainment, culinary, gaming, and consumer product experiences to life for new audiences, in new locations, and on new platforms in both the physical and virtual worlds.

According to Mark Woodbury, Chairman and CEO of Universal Destinations & Experiences, “Universal Destinations & Experiences aligns with our aspiration to be the Destination of Choice in the markets where we are today and the markets we enter in the future.” He is excited to expand the way the Universal brand is brought to life in fresh, immersive, and engaging ways for fans worldwide, using the company’s rich collection of stories, characters, and franchises.

The company has recently announced two new original concepts, including a theme park designed for families with young children and a year-round horror-inspired entertainment experience that extends its highly successful Halloween Horror Nights franchise.

Universal Orlando Resort and its parks have also all recieved new imagery. The new designs appear to be in line with the logo created for their newest park – Epic Universe, which is scheduled to open in 2025.

Universal Studios in Hollywood, and all the newly labeled Universal Destinations & Experiences‘ global park holdings, recieved an upgrade in imagery as well.
