‘Halloween Horror Nights’ at Universal Orlando Unleashes More Terrifying Haunted Houses, Scare Zones, & Details

Prepare for heart-pounding terror as Fear Comes to Life at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood. From September 1 to November 4 in Orlando and September 7 to October 31 in Hollywood, Halloween Horror Nights promises an unforgettable experience with a lineup of 10 haunted houses, five scare zones, and much more.

Universal Orlando Resort has revealed spine-chilling additions to the haunted houses, including “The Exorcist: Believer,” based on the new Universal Pictures film from Blumhouse and Morgan Creek Entertainment, “Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count,” inspired by the popular USA & SYFY series, and “Universal Monsters: Unmasked,” drawing from Universal’s iconic cinematic monsters.

The nightmare begins at Universal Orlando Resort on Friday, September 1 and at Universal Studios Hollywood on Thursday, September 7. Below is a sneak peek at what to expect:

The Exorcist: Believer

Taking guests on a terrifying journey to Haiti’s bustling street market, where an innocent purchase leads to a demonic portal, sinister spirits, and the disappearance of two 12-year-old girls. As guests become unwittingly involved, an exorcism becomes their only hope of salvation. Inspired by Universal Pictures’ terrifying new horror film from Blumhouse and Morgan Creek Entertainment (in theaters Friday, October 13).

Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count

For the first time, “Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count” casts the sadistic killer doll as the star of his own haunted house, aiming to transform it into a living slaughterhouse by eliminating all who enter. Inspired by the hit USA & SYFY series and cult classic films, “Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count” is sure to be terrifyingly fun.

Universal Monsters: Unmasked

Descending sixty feet beneath Paris’ bustling streets, “Universal Monsters: Unmasked” leads guests into the eerie Catacombs, filled with millions of skeletal remains and dark secrets. Here, Universal’s most notorious creatures, including The Phantom of the Opera, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and The Invisible Man, seek vengeance against visitors who dare to intrude.

These are in addition to the previously announced “The Last Of Us” and “Stranger Things” Houses.

Prepare yourself for a spine-chilling experience as five original haunted houses unveil their terrifying tales at Universal Orlando Resort. Fearless guests will immerse themselves in these gripping stories:

  1. “Dr. Oddfellow: Twisted Origins” – Step into a demented, late-night circus ruled by an evil ringmaster and a notorious icon on the hunt for human souls to serve their dark intentions.

  2. “Dueling Dragons: Choose Thy Fate” – Embark on a hair-raising journey through a sinister battle between Fire and Ice, adding a horrifying twist to a familiar tale.

  3. “YETI: Campground Kills” – Venture deep into blood-soaked campgrounds nestled in mountainous terrain, where vicious, bloodthirsty monsters have returned with vengeance.

  4. “The Darkest Deal” – Witness the chilling consequences as individuals sell their souls for fame, discovering that the deal they made is far more sinister than they bargained for.

  5. “Bloodmoon: Dark Offerings” – Encounter a colonial cult that seeks to annihilate those who refuse to worship the Bloodmoon, unleashing dark and ominous offerings.

Each haunted house promises an unforgettable and fear-inducing experience for those brave enough to explore their ominous depths.

FIVE UNNERVING SCARE ZONES

As the sun sets on Universal Studios Florida and ominous clouds fill the sky, Dr. Oddfellow steps out of Halloween Horror Nights past to fill the streets with hordes of taunting scareactors in five all-new scare zones where guests will:

  • Come face to face with the devious legend who is promising immortality for those who dare to enter “Dr. Oddfellow’s Collection of Horror”
  • Cower in fear as the signs of the zodiac come to life in “Dark Zodiac” where Dr. Oddfellow uses his power to transform the zodiac signs into horrifying horoscope creatures
  • Venture into the “Jungle of Doom: Expedition Horror” where Dr. Oddfellow’s twisted and bizarre experiments combine elements of nature and animals to create vicious jungle creatures looking to satisfy their cravings
  • Attend a music festival crashed by bloodthirsty vampires let loose by Dr. Oddfellow in “Vamp ’69: Summer of Blood”
  • Stumble upon Dr. Oddfellow’s crates and cages that once housed monsters of all kinds who have escaped in pursuit of chaos in “Shipyard 32: Horrors Unhinged”

  • Guests can enjoy the all-new disturbingly entertaining show, “Nightmare Fuel Revenge Dream,” that features a new dreamer confronting the creature that’s been turning her dreams into nightmares.
