The Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure Park draws inspiration from the rich array of dishes and cherished traditions associated with Christmas, Navidad, Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Three Kings Day. Providing a sensory feast, guests can indulge in both new and familiar culinary delights, such as southern mac and cheese and kielbasa with pierogi. Accompanied by lively music at the Palisades Stage, Sonoma Terrace, and, for the first time, the Hollywood Backlot, the festivities of the Disney Festival of Holidays extend to this new location.

To enhance the experience, festivalgoers have the option to purchase a Sip and Savor Pass, which includes eight coupon tabs for sharing among friends and family. Valid throughout the entirety of this season’s Disney Festival of Holidays, food enthusiasts can exchange their tabs for a variety of food and nonalcoholic beverages at eight marketplaces and select dining locations within Disney California Adventure Park.*

Celebrating its tenth season, Disney ¡Viva Navidad! returns to Paradise Gardens Park. The Paradise Garden Grill introduces new menu items, including the shareable loaded torta and chocolate cake flan. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and The Three Caballeros will showcase vibrant new celebratory attire, blending elements of traditional Latin American fashion with holiday motifs through playful textures and vibrant floral embroidery. These characters will lead a lively street party featuring Mexican folklórico dancers, mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers, percussionists, and giant mojiganga puppets. Additional festivities include live music and dancing, opportunities to meet beloved Disney characters, and special appearances by Mirabel from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto.”

Festive decorations illuminate the entire Disneyland Resort, featuring majestic Christmas trees adorned with uniquely themed ornaments across both theme parks, the Downtown Disney District, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and Disneyland Hotel.

Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle is adorned with icicles and snow-capped turrets, and thanks to a touch of Disney magic, nightly “snow” showers are scheduled in select areas of Disneyland Park. In the Downtown Disney District, “snow” is set to fall every half hour between Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio and Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., starting Nov. 24 through Dec. 31. Meanwhile, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa introduces a new festive gingerbread house, inspiring aspiring gingerbread architects with its intricate design inspired by pastries.

Beloved attractions receive a holiday makeover with ornaments, lights, and more. In Disneyland, the wintry waterway of “it’s a small world” Holiday transforms into a merry boat ride serenading guests with cheerful tunes. Over in New Orleans Square, Jack Skellington from “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” gives the Haunted Mansion a frightfully festive makeover, blending Halloween and Christmas. In Disney California Adventure, Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree offer seasonal spins for the “haul-idays,” inviting guests to gear up for a cheerful experience.

The Festive Fun continues at Resorts & Dining

The holiday atmosphere extends to dining establishments throughout the Disneyland Resort. In a first-time celebration, Goofy’s Kitchen showcases characters donned in holiday attire, along with cheerful decorations and seasonal flavors, running from Dec. 1, 2023, to Jan. 1, 2024. Additionally, more than 75 new and returning limited-time food and beverage offerings await discovery across the Disneyland Resort, including delights like the Mickey ornament macaron, celebration potato, and Filipino feast burrito.

To commemorate their visit and discover ideal gifts for loved ones, families and friends can explore an array of holiday merchandise collections. These include the Disney Classics Christmas collection, the Disney Festival of Holidays collection, and other festive seasonal attire, ensuring lasting memories and delightful presents for years to come.
