Ray’s Berets: Where Fireflies Light Up Your Look

Nestled in the heart of Critter Country, Ray’s Berets (formerly The Briar Patch) promises to be a haven for all things headwear. Stepping inside, guests will be transported to the coziest cabin imaginable – a haven built and decorated by the firefly Raymond and his fellow fireflies. Concept art released by Walt Disney Imagineering showcases a whimsical space adorned with twinkling lights, mimicking the bioluminescent glow of fireflies. This charming atmosphere will perfectly complement the merchandise offered, featuring a delightful array of hats, apparel, accessories, toys, and more.

Imagine sporting a stylish cap adorned with Raymond’s likeness, or picking up a cozy T-shirt emblazoned with a playful firefly design. Ray’s Berets is poised to become a one-stop shop for guests seeking unique souvenirs and apparel that capture the spirit of the bayou and its charming firefly inhabitants.

Louis’ Critter Club: A Celebration of Friendship in the Bayou

Venturing deeper into Critter Country, guests will stumble upon Louis’ Critter Club (currently occupying the left-hand side of Pooh Corner). This vibrant location, designed as a hangout for the animal friends featured in Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, promises to be a treasure trove for fans of the film and Princess Tiana.

Concept art depicts a lively space brimming with personality, reflecting the unique characteristics of the bayou creatures. Here, guests can browse through a curated selection of apparel, accessories, and even home décor, all featuring Princess Tiana and the beloved critters that inhabit her world. Whether it’s a plush alligator reminiscent of Louis, a Tiana-inspired dress, or a decorative item showcasing the film’s iconic imagery, Louis’ Critter Club promises to offer something special for everyone.

Expanding the World of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

The introduction of Ray’s Berets and Louis’ Critter Club goes hand-in-hand with the much-anticipated opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. This thrilling new attraction will take guests on a musical adventure following the events of “The Princess and the Frog.” Imagine joining Princess Tiana and the jazz-loving alligator Louis as they prepare for a vibrant Mardi Gras celebration, encountering familiar faces and forging new friendships along the way.

The attraction promises to be a sensory feast, featuring a blend of original music and beloved tunes from the film, a visually stunning queue adorned with a sweeping, colorful mural, and much more. This immersive experience adds another layer to the “The Princess and the Frog” offerings at Disneyland Resort, complementing the already existing Tiana’s Palace restaurant and Eudora’s Chic Boutique featuring Tiana’s Gourmet Secrets in New Orleans Square.

To make way for these exciting enhancements to the land, Critter Country will temporarily close beginning May 1, 2024
