Walt Disney World’s Blizzard Beach Water Park is turning 30 this April, and they’re throwing an icy celebration you won’t want to miss! Get ready for a month of limited-time experiences and festive entertainment that’ll make a splash with the whole family.
The party kicks off on April 1st, Blizzard Beach’s official anniversary, with a live DJ spinning cool tunes, special meet-and-greets with Disney characters sporting their winter best, and digital frozen-photo frames to capture the day’s memories. Throughout April, the park will keep the celebration going with anniversary-themed dance parties, games, temporary 30th-anniversary tattoos, exclusive merchandise, delicious food and drinks, and plenty of “snow”-filled surprises.
As the anniversary celebration winds down, the water park fun shifts to Typhoon Lagoon, Walt Disney World’s tropical oasis. Reopening on May 1st, Typhoon Lagoon offers a unique, typhoon-themed experience, complete with quirky shipwrecked boats, a stranded fishing pier, and thrilling adventures.
