Beginning June 27th, visitors will have the option to purchase Genie+ based on the specific park they wish to visit. They can choose between a single-park Genie+ option or a multi-park option.
The availability of these options may vary, and the prices will also differ. This means that the prices could be lower at one park compared to another. For instance, if there is lower demand, Genie+ might cost $27 at Magic Kingdom on a particular day, while it could be $18 at Animal Kingdom.
To purchase Genie+, you will still use the My Disney Experience app on the day of your visit. Currently, sales begin at midnight, and all visitors can make their first Genie+ selection starting at 7AM.
The Disney World website has been updated to reflect this change, but the My Disney Experience app still displays the current purchasing method, which is likely to change on the 27th. Keep in mind that you may need to update your app when this change becomes effective.
Disney has also shared a graphic illustrating the process of purchasing Genie+ on June 27th. The “Multiple Parks” option is shown at the top with the highest price, followed by each individual park with different price points. Generally, Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios are the most expensive, while EPCOT and Animal Kingdom have relatively lower costs when purchased individually. Although this pattern may not always hold, it aligns with the observed trend in one-day ticket prices.
